A watercolour and pen painting. I haven't used pens with watercolor for a very long time, so discovered that most of my pens had dried up except one, which turned out to be water-soluble! So I had fun trying to mop up the blurrs and runs into my watercolor! But now I've got used to this pen, I might try more watercolor & pen paintings with it, as it's quite fun.
I've been painting and drawing most of my life. I enjoy all painting drawing mediums - but use mostly Pastels, Watercolors, and Pen & Ink. I'm a member of Pastel Artists of New Zealand and Southern Pastel Artists. I'm a Moderator on the Wet Canvas Artists Website and an Administrator on PaintMyPhoto Artist Website. I hope you enjoy seeing my paintings and I will post them as I paint.

This watercolor was painted for the PaintMyPhoto Website - Floral Group's Monthly Challenge "Eath Colors" - which it won.
It was one watercolor which went well right from the start - that doesn't happen for me very often. My watercolors seem to have a mind of their own!
