A Camel painted in PanPastels and some pen & Ink added.
I thought I'd like to try the combination of mediums, and it worked quite well.
The Camel was painted for Wet Canvas, Animal & Wildlife May Challenge
Calla Lilies in watercolor and Inktense pencils. I loved the bright pink color of these lilies.
This painting was painted for the Wet Canvas Floral Forum's May 2017 Challenge
I've been painting and drawing most of my life. I enjoy all painting drawing mediums - but use mostly Pastels, Watercolors, and Pen & Ink. I'm a member of Pastel Artists of New Zealand and Southern Pastel Artists. I'm a Moderator on the Wet Canvas Artists Website and an Administrator on PaintMyPhoto Artist Website. I hope you enjoy seeing my paintings and I will post them as I paint.

Watercolour of tulips in a vase
This was a watercolour and Inktense pencils of a bunch of tulips in a vase. I often use Inktense pencils with watercolour to give some texture to my watercolor paintings

Waterlily Dahlia
Watercolor and Inktense Pencil. I washed the whole flower & background with watercolor, then added the Inktense Pencils to the middle petals to define the center more.
I really enjoy working with Inktense Pencils. I have more control over the look of the finished painting, when using them. I could have taken this flower painting further, but decided I liked the look of the pale-crimson outer petals against the more detailed centre.
